FeatureOS AI is the set of AI features built into the product you already use — not a separate tool. It works on workspace data: board posts, roadmaps, changelogs, knowledge base articles, and form responses. That means sentiment and keywords on posts (credits), merge suggestions and Related Posts, a changelog draft you review, KB article generation plus summaries, intent-aware KB search that surfaces matching articles, Forms Insights on Growth+, and Dashboard AI Chat across those records.

Post sentiment, keywords, and summary use credits: 1 credit each time you process or re-process a post. Starter includes 2,000 credits, Growth 4,000, Business 8,000. Extra packs are $15 for 1,000 credits in Billing. Other AI features — AI Search, Forms Insights, Related Posts, changelog generator, KB generate and summary, board processing, Dashboard AI Chat — are plan or toggle features, not a per-ask meter. AI Enhanced Duplicates Detection, Forms Insights, and Analytics with AI start on Growth.

Starter includes post sentiment / keywords / summary (credits), the changelog draft generator, KB AI Search, KB summaries, Generate with AI, Related Posts, and Dashboard AI Chat. Growth adds AI Enhanced Duplicates Detection, Analytics with AI, and Forms AI Insights (summary and sentiment). Business includes Growth AI with higher article, form, and credit allowances. Your FeatureOS workspace: feedback posts and discussions, roadmaps, changelogs, knowledge base articles, and form responses. Dashboard AI Chat can reference those admin-visible records. You do not upload a separate corpus. AI Chat is not a support channel for FeatureOS itself.

There is no training run or model picker. Several features still need a toggle: Related Posts in board settings, per-board AI processing for sentiment, AI Search in Knowledge Base settings, and Forms Insights on the form. Credits apply only when you process posts for sentiment, keywords, and summary.

Yes. Related Posts, per-board processing, AI Search, and Forms Insights are toggles. Leave them off and those features stay off. Turning one off does not affect the rest of the platform.

No. AI suggests similar posts, drafts a changelog, generates an article, and tags sentiment. It does not merge, publish, or move a post to planned on its own. You approve every merge, draft, and publish.

Not yet. Help is explicit: context retention is not implemented. Ask a complete question each time. AI Chat explores organization data; it is not FeatureOS support.
