How Zapier Zaps Work with FeatureOS#

A Zap has two parts:

  • Trigger: Something happens in FeatureOS (a new post, a vote, a status change).
  • Action: Zapier does something in another app (creates a task, sends a message, updates a record).

How to Connect FeatureOS to Zapier#

  1. Sign up at zapier.com if you do not have an account.
  2. In FeatureOS, go to Dashboard > Organization Settings > Integrations > Zapier > Configure.
  3. Log into Zapier and connect your FeatureOS account using your API key (found in Dashboard > Organization Settings > Advanced).
  4. Click Create Zap in Zapier.
  5. Pick FeatureOS as the trigger app and choose your event.
  6. Add one or more action apps (Slack, Jira, HubSpot, Google Sheets, whatever you use).
  7. Configure each action, test the workflow, name the Zap, and turn it on.

Actions:

  1. Send a notification to a Slack channel
