A customer submits feedback that says "the page is broken." That is not very helpful on its own. But with Fullstory connected to your FeatureOS portal, your team can replay the exact session where that user encountered the problem. You see what they clicked, what errored out, and what the experience actually looked like.
Fullstory captures both qualitative and quantitative data about user interactions. By running it on your feedback portal, every piece of feedback gains a layer of behavioral context that makes it easier to understand, reproduce, and prioritize.
How to Connect Fullstory to FeatureOS#
- In FeatureOS, go to Dashboard > Organization Settings > Integrations.
- Scroll to Fullstory.
- In Fullstory, log in and go to Settings > Data Capture and Privacy > Data capture > Capture data by domain > Add domain. Add your FeatureOS portal domain.
- Find your Fullstory Org ID under Settings > Data Capture and Privacy > Fullstory Setup (it is embedded in the installation snippet).
- Copy the Org ID, paste it into FeatureOS, and click Update.
Your FeatureOS portal is now tracked in Fullstory, and sessions are available for replay in your Fullstory dashboard.
How Session Replay Improves Feedback Quality#
Product managers get the "why" behind every request because they can watch what the user actually experienced. Developers save time by replaying the exact steps leading to a bug instead of asking the customer to describe it again. And when it comes to prioritization, seeing real session data alongside feedback trends gives your team a more honest picture of what needs attention.
