Creators use FeatureOS to gather ideas from their communities. Many of those same creators use Patreon to fund their work. The Patreon + FeatureOS integration connects the two by placing a Patreon button on your feedback portal. Users who come to suggest features can also become paying supporters, all in one place.
How to Add Patreon to Your FeatureOS Portal#
- In FeatureOS, go to Dashboard > Organization Settings > Integrations.
- Scroll to the Patreon section.
- Enter your Patreon ID and click Update.
Your Patreon button now appears on your FeatureOS portal.
Finding Your Patreon ID#
Your Patreon ID is your username. If your Patreon page is at https://patreon.com/tars, then your Patreon ID is tars.
Why Creators Add Patreon to Their Feedback Portal#
The people who care enough to submit feature requests are often the same people willing to support your work financially. By placing the Patreon link right on your feedback portal, you remove friction. Users do not need to search for your Patreon page separately. They see the button while they are already engaged with your product, and the path from feedback to financial support becomes a single click.
